My home is full of pictures of family and friends. I would like to figure out how to display them without taking up so much room on shelves, etc. Also have a lot of knick knacks from all our travels that I would like to display.

Pick a wall in your home and hang all your framed photos on it. You can buy all matching frames or mix and match and mix and match in clusters. Check out photo jojo, they have fotoclips that make a really nice display of your photos. http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/fotoclips . A lighted curio cabinet would be great for your knick knacks and it cuts down on dust. ( I am a professional photographer and I use one wall dedicated for my photos of my family and friends.)

Deb: I believe your question is more of a interior design/interior decorating question to which irishdreams gave some great suggestions. When you want to simplify your life, live a life of less is more and start decluttering all the clutter in your home and thus, your life , I can help you with any questions you have then.

I am in the process of organizing a home office. Its quite challenging to find a place for so many different and varied papers/files, etc... I`m actually going to put together a Plan on the site and follow it through.
