So I started my new business doing weddings, funerals, hand-fastings, and such like. But I have no idea what to call that sort of business. I`m not really a wedding consultant since I just plan plan on just doing the ceremonies. I`m not affiliated with any church per se. I am an ordained minister but don`t really have a religious affiliation so am able to do just about any type of religious ceremony of the sort listed.
Anyway, i am just wondering what folks call that sort of business.

Hello

I started my own business this year too, mines Jewellery design so slightly different but I found it really tricky deciding what to call it. I think no matter what you go into it`s a tricky decision.

I don`t really have any names for you but try to think of something catchy, something that people will remember, something that hasn`t already been taken (especially if you would like a website) A name that starts at the beginning of the alphabet is also a good one as it`s what would come up first in directorys or the internet.

If you have any ideas but you`re not really sure on which one to go for, let us know and we can help you choose. It`s always good to have a brainstorm of what you think first. If you choose something that someone else has come up with you might regret it later down the line.

Sorry for rambling, I hope this has helped you a little and hasn`t just told you what you already know.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Your business could have multiple names. I would look online more or in the yellow pages to get a better idea. I would name your business something along the lines of what globehound suggested. Other ideas include..ceremonial officiant...your interfaith minister...

What is mySomeday.com Close
mySomeday is designed to help you achieve those goals and dreams you’ve always said you’d get to ‘Someday’. It was born from a universal truth; everyone has ‘somedays’ they want to realize. It was designed to address a universal reality; life, laziness or lack of know-how makes achievement elusive. ‘Plans’ are meant to address this gap between truth and reality. Whether you build your own original Plan or copy and customize an existing Expert or Community Plan, this detailed roadmap is meant to get you from start to finish. With a Plan, you can track your progress, set reminders and deadlines, get feedback from the community and much more. In addition to Plans, we hope that all of the elements of the site and the social connections that spring up will take people from idea, to plan, to partnership, and, ultimately, to achievement.
